Zemin was in Malta on a three-day state visit. Several Falun Gong
representatives from the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria came to
Malta during the President's visit. The Falun Gong practitioners were joined by
several Maltese, who also protested against the Chinese government's human
rights record.
