Falun Gong practitioner Dr Jimmy Zhou, a Chinese American, does meditation exercises under the watchful eye of several plainclothes police officers during a silent protest against Chinese President Jiang Zemin in Valletta on July 24, 2001. The Chinese President, in Malta on a three day state visit, was visiting the nearby St John's Co-Cathedral at the time of the protest.
