An elderly woman cries as her neighbour tries to comfort her after a strong earth tremor sent people onto the streets in panic in Valletta July 7, 2003. The earthquake, felt all over the Maltese islands, measured
4 on the Richter scale, with the epicentre 30 km North-East of the island. There were no
reports of casualties or serious damage.
