Congolese
performers act in "Katanga!", a show of African drama, song and dance
at the Malta Drama Centre in Blata l-Bajda, outside Valletta, May 7,
2006. The performers all originally arrived in Malta as illegal
immigrants by sea. It is hoped the show can help combat a growing
wave of racism on the island, which has led to several arson related
arson attacks. Around 1, 000 immigrants are in detention in Malta
while several hundreds live in open centres
