Two
men retrieve a friend's possessions from his car after it was swept away by
floodwaters in the town of Birkirkara, outside Valletta, November 6, 2002. Heavy
rainfall caused widespread flooding and damage throughout the Maltese islands on
Wednesday, though no serious injuries were reported.
