Illegal immigrants hold a protest against their detention at Hal Far detention centre after a mass escape from the nearby Safi detention centre outside Valletta March 6, 2006. In an escape without precedent, a large group of immigrants was apprehended at Malta International Airport's departure lounge after having escaped the Safi detention centre.
