Volunteers form a human chain as food and clothing supplies are loaded into a container to be sent to the disaster zone in Sri Lanka a week after a tsunami devastated the area, at Ta'Qali, outside Valletta, January 3, 2005. Despite its small population, Malta has raised around one and a half million US dollars and donated some 9 million dollars worth of supplies for the stricken area. Maltese medical teams will be setting out for Sri Lanka in the coming days.
